One search box for scattered Florida permit records
Type a contractor or a license number, and it searches public Florida permit data and returns matching permits in one list.
Permit history was scattered
Building permits in Florida live in separate city and county systems, each with its own search screen. Anyone checking a contractor's track record has to search them one at a time.
One search box, one clean format
As CTO, I led the technical build of Florida Permit Lookup, a public app that puts those records behind one search box and turns every record into the same clean format.
It launched on public data from three places
It launched on public open data from Orlando, Leon County and Tampa, with contractor search for Orlando and Leon County and license search for Leon County. By its August 6, 2026 check it held 2,549 stored permit records, including records from more Florida cities and counties.
